Hi guys,

I recently purchased the hurst black pistol grip shifter and aluminum case. My car was originally a 4 speed, but is converted for an auto. I have the shifter sitting on a powdercoated piece of metal over the 4 speed shifter hole which is attached to the floor. The shifter is solidly built and looks nice.

My problem is I can't figure out how to run the wiring so it isn't noticeable. The shifter has a male and female connector which aren't very big and I would prefer them to stay out of sight. Problem is the male connector is rather short coming from the shifter and I'm not sure if it is suppose to be wrapped around the shifter and stay under the aluminum case or what?!

I looked online and couldn't find any illustrations on how the wiring was run to give me an idea on what I can do.

I had the older hurst shifter with the ball top where I ran the wires from the button on the side of the shifter and it looked ok. The wires attached to the top of the old shifter so I really didn't have a choice.

Pics would be most helpful.
If need be I can post up some pics of what I'm working with.

Thanks guys!

Nevermind all I figured out a way to hide the wire up to the front and then attach them to the shifter cable cleanly.
