Hello and welcome to my post. I have an original, vintage, 4-speed Hurst vertical gate shifter and all the linkage for sale. It is in excellant working condition and complete.It is tight with no abuse or damage. It will work on most older 4-speed transmissions with side mounts.Please look closely at the photos and make your own determination as to whether it will work for your application. I live near New Tazewell, Tn. 37825 I am asking $375-00 , OBO. hey how does the vertigate work? is it up and down for shifting like a sequential?

a vertigate is, rings up, push forward, you are in first. upon launch, second is straight back, third straight forward, fourth straight back. reverse is main stick neutral, pull other lever. downshifting fourth to third is straight forward, third to second is shifter in middle, pull rings, pull back. however, i believe the op has either a ramrod or super shifter, vertigates are (as i recall) larger with a different mech.

:hello2: Yes, the shifter is still for sale or trade. If you are serious about it, give me a call. My number is . I can be reached about anytime up until 11PM. I live near Tazewell, Tn. That's about 40 miles Northeast of Knoxville,Tn. As far as what I may be interested in trading for, that depends on what you have ! I sincerely have more than $400 in it----however money talks louder than trades and I might do better than that for cash----otherwise a trade would obviously have to be worth at least $400 or more. Just as an example; I might trade for a good rebuildable Chevy 454 or 402 engine or maybe a Big-block mopar engine--440,383, etc. It would have to be rebuildable. I don't expect a new one.
