One of the good things about having an interesting project going is that people are more then willing to help in most cases. One of the hydro-boost distributors was just here and did all the measurements to build brackets for our cars. He is going to start building them and will have some available starting next week. He sells the hydro-boost units as well so I am sure he will have it as a package. Not sure what the retail price is going to be for the setup yet, but I will post pictures as we get it all together like I normally do.

Pretty much done. Mate up the brackets and mount it up

That's pretty badass. Does it take a GM master cylinder? Like late 80s early 90s, right?

It does. It is done at this point, just need to install it.

Please keep updating. "I" am very interested even if no one else might be. This would be a great application for those with radical cams that want power brakes.

I wanted to make sure I had brakes when moving from 15 PSI to vacuum. I think this is an awesome system. Everyone I know that has it loves it

How well I know. It worked like a big dawg on those old late 80s and early 90s GM station wagons.

i don't see any "nub" on the back of the push rod. how are you going to activate the stop light switch?

Spring loaded toggle switch on the bottom of the dash. When you put your foot on the pedal, your knee hits the switch. :D

Alot of proportioning valves have a brake light switch built in, thats one way. Also, offset the oem swtich to hit the bolt head or nut.

There's always a way to hook up a brake light switch. I took a MC from a 69 Valiant and installed it on my 66 Belvedere. Why, because I had it and wanted to get rid of the single unit on the Bel. Had to modify the switch bracket to work but it wasn't too much of a pain. Also had to buy some fitting adapters to hook up the lines.

I looked into this early on. Thought the same thing about the lack of vacuum and how do I stop the car. The input i got from a couple of the folks offering a system was "sketchy" and the folks running 4 wheel disk with a 1-1/8" MC bore were happy with the stopping power. decided against installing a PS pump just to run a hydro-boost. i can see where it would be appealing if you already have power steering.
