Had my Cataract Surgery yesterday Morning. I am now implanted with a new Lens and a Card Carrying Member of the BORG.....:icon_twisted: All kidding aside, it was a real trip of an experience. Just truly amazing what is now being done to help maintain a better life for now and future generations. It will be about 4 weeks till I fully heal because of the smallness of the procedure. But like anything that is as complex as the Eyes it is understandable. But just "FREAKIN AWESOME" to be able to see clearly now!!!!!! My Golf partners are gonna have to watch out...cr8crshr/Tuck:hello2::hello2::hello2::hello2::hello2:

Good deal!! So far so good with my eyes but I can certainly tell a difference in the way I see now that I'm in my 60's. Never thought I'd go this far or I would have taken better care of myself!! Oh well, so why start now! :D

Great to hear Cr8crshr, go tear em' up on the Links....

That's pretty wild ****.

I think it would freak me out.

I had better than 20/20 before diabetes..and I miss the hell out of it now that I need reading glasses!

Hey - great to hear, cr8crshr!

Good stuff!!! Happy to know thing are going good.

When most people talk about getting rid of their cataract I ask if they upgraded to a Rincoln. This is where you laugh at the bad joke. Anyway, I'm happy to hear of your renewed vision and hope it all gets better from here. Wishing you a speedy recovery from the Bay Area.

Congrats I bet you're going to look at all sorts of things differently now.

That Is Just awesome!! I know just how you feel. Last Feb. I had an artificial Cornea surgery . I am one of less than 10 in the entire state of Nebraska to have this done. Since I had it done in Ne. --I don't know the figgers for my state of IOWA. After over two years of near blindness, I can drive my car at Hot Rod speeds now!
Not that long ago, if a person got cataracts, they were just blind for the rest of their lives.............................MO

Way to go Crush, It is amazing what they can do these days, just take care of yourself till fully healed then give em hell.

you are blessed,so many others can not enjoy what you can now.great news.

Lol, the rare asian cars. Congrats Cr8!!! Everytime I read the title to this thread (I can see clearly now) I think... The rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way.

NVG Vision Improvement, Azimuth and Drift Windage Compensator, 4x100 Scope Metering to 1000 yards, Inferred Targeting Acquisition along with Heat Recognition Aperture , "Click Click Click" Priority Targeting, and Laser Optics Digital Monitoring. Yep...I'd say I am well on my way to becoming a "BORG"!!!! All kidding aside, Thanks for the well wishes. I plan on living for a whole lot longer than my young 64 yrs. My favorite round number for longevity is 150 yrs. By then I will have it all figured out don't ya know????:clock:
