I love this country. I really do. We dont all get along and have our different points of view but when the chips are down you dont want to mess with the US and there is no one quicker to lend a hand to a neighbor or person in need. The courage and dedication and selflessness of the people of this country never ceases to amaze me. I thank my lucky stars everyday I wake up and look out and see frozen volcanoes, mighty rivers, little league baseball and girls softball starting up. Clean healthy air to breathe and water to drink. Food on the table and clothes on our backs. I know it isnt all good but the good people far outweigh the bad ones. Thank you to my friends in here.

It really doesnt get any better than this. I pray I never forget how lucky I am.

don't mess with the US... it's by far greatest place to live...

99ss I don't often agree with you but I'm with you a 100% on this one.

I can disagree with my brother but... if an outsider does look out!
99, great point.

As a first gen American I couldn't agree more.

And you are the only other person besides myself that I've heard say the good people far outweigh the bad. Not to say that many don't feel the same way but I just never heard it before.

Same here. I've become much more patriotic the more I travel overseas. We have our share of problems, but comparing how we live even to Europe, the USA is just awesome. I'm proud to be raising my 2 kids to appreciate what they have, to be kind and responsible, to give back to this amazing country as well as my community.

Nice post. Hope this finds all the great people on here well.

Amen to that, I've been to Mexico and Jamaica and the difference is scary. Love this country, all of the brave men who served, the right to do what I want, own property, own guns, travel throughout without any oversight and the ability to enjoy my Mopar. This is a blessed country to live in, that's why I'll be flying the flag right on the hood of my American made Charger. Don't ever hesitate to shake the hand of a veteran "they deserve our respect" Thanks to all that may be reading this.

i also feel very lucky to live in our great nation.my wife often tells me of the time she spent in europe as an exchange student,it sucked to say the least.besides,i think we sent all the"bad people"to washington.
