I need a locking mechanism part.

I know this is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack but I'll give it a shot. I can lock my driver door but I can't unlock because this rod fell out. After inspecting it the plastic end is worn out and won't stay in the hole. Does any one have this part or a suggestion to repair the one I have.

Should be able to buy that lock clip or similar in any automotive "help" section.

Your right I found some I had know idea these were at a auto parts store.
