I need a Steering Shaft Coupling Clamp, anyone know where I might get one of these? Mopar # 2996935

I would like to meet the Dodge big thinker who designed the coupler in the first place, I would like to share a couple of comments on the design... hehe.

How about a U-joint coupler? anyone have success with those? The splined steering gear side is 19/32" ?

Thanks

the Mopar coupler clamps are long gone...not being reproduced..and it you do find a new one, you may have to refinance your house to get one

I have two cars that I have the clamp on. One that I got from eBay, just keep looking. The other that I got with an ad in the Moparts wanted section. They work really well. There are no current reproductions made.

Thanks, I did end up finding hopefully a solution at Steerandgear's website: 2111 - Redesigned Seal Boot Cover

Not a problem, any highly respected FBBO member in good standing would be willing to refinance their home for a needed part, I fully understand... the wife might not though, LOL!
