I see an old Ford truck, an old Mercury Capri and I think a Holden Morano (GTO) in there. There are a bunch of great cars there that I have no idea what they are! I've never heard the term Powerskid before either.

Oops, wrong video. What is the car at 2:20 on this one? It kind of looks like a 1970 GTO.

Pretty much all Holdens.
Monaro at 2.20 I think, Commodore, Torana and a Ford Capri there near the end.

holden HQ Monaro at 2 :20

Thanks. What about the dark blue sedan at 4:00 minutes with the inflatable sex doll in the back seat? Looks like a 90's Buick.

Then the green sedan at 6:10 that spins? Looks a bit like a Cadillac.

The blue sedan is Holden Caprice by the looks, just a fancier version of the Commodore, longer wheelbase probably.
The green car is a HZ Monaro maybe.
They are all variations on the same theme, similar platforms, GM engines, certain models sold in the USA with different badging, nothing to excite a Mopar man.

For our US [ & other ] friends, looking at the still pic in post #2.
The bronze coloured car out front is an early Holden Commodore; they came out around 1978.
The green car is an early Holden Statesman, first arrived around 1971. These were Holden's 'Cadillac', top of the line.

The Monaro [ not Morano ]. First series ran from 1968 to to 1970, all coupes. There were 4 door versions, but not called Monaros. Around 1971-2, there were 2 door & 4 door Monaros, second series, ran to about 1976.
Third series Monaros came in early 2002, some coupes re-badged with GTO badges; just another jelly bean shaped car, didn't sell well.

Gup's old HQ Holden was the first real Power-skidder. At 1800hp and a rusty old light car....you can't miss.

I saw him in person and spoke to him at Taupo on his first trip over here. Quite a machine, and he knows it.

A power Skid is a burnout with NO brakes involvement allowed to hold the car back.
Touching the brakes gets you disqualified in the power skid competition.
Disconnecting the brake lights will also get you kicked out. :p

Talking about getting kicked out. Thought it was Roger when he first got out of the car! Lol
