I need a recipe on what part's I will need for a 1000hp 727 514ci with a PT-106mm turbo , these are the part's I already have .

- Steel billet drum loaded with the bigger piston
- The Ultra Sprag from SMR
- JW trans brake
- PTC 4000 stall
- SMR Super 2 1/4'' solid super band
- SMR Super duty billet strut
- SMR Rebuild kit with there race clutch's

That's it so far

Here's a link to there site >>> http://smrtrans.tripod.com/smrtransmissionsintro/index.html

Thanks Mike

Rear roller support would be a good upgrade too. SMR has a nice one. Maybe billet planetries too...

I run nearly 900 through stock 3 pin planets and the stock 1965 low roller. I also don't run a trans brake. You may want to upgrade to a steel front planet carrier. The super sprag is a good idea. We killed the stock sprag with a trans brake valve body even though it was equipped with low band apply.

Thanks Doug , I think I should be ok I have a 76 727 core I will build up is this a good core to use.

I will have a trans brake valve body but will not be using the trans brake part of it I will be foot braking with only 8 pi of boost on the street.

Thanks Mike

Is this 76 a good thing or a bad thing , I can get a 73 or 74 core maybe I know a guy who has a few I would have to go trru the pile to see if there is on there.

One another note I pulled the pump out of my 1970 727 that was in the car and I think that someone swapped the pump support out for the wider 71 and up if I'm rite please correct me if I'm wrong .

Here's some pix

Thanks Mike

The early kick down servo with inner and outer springs is good also. Remember to follow the trans brake instructions as you may have to drill a hole in the high gear drum. Possible it's there already though. Drill a new vent hole in the rear of the case and plug the front vent. You can modify the front reaction shaft with a cut off wheel ( see CRT website). This isn't a very good picture but look at the right side at the drum oil feed hole. Notice how it ground down to the intersecting hole.
