I just found my old 68 runner from high school. And I think I need to have it.So the 330 needs to go.I'm torn.Help!

I would go with the car I had in high school, just for the shear history of it. Which ever way you decide to go, good luck.

Yeah, if I found my old GTX from HS, I think I'd have to make that move, too - if I could swing it.

If I came across my high school ride, 69' El Camino SS, I would keep walking.........that bastard nickeled and dimed me to death, plus it was a chevy and my dad used it as a truck!!!!!

Having a chance for re-aquire your High School ride is near priceless. I'd just about give anything to have mine back but will never have a chance.
If you don't go for it you may never again have another chance so give it your all.

Good luck!

yea I would do it certain cars have such deep connections with the owner.

If I had a Roadrunner when I was in High School I would still have it, but they weren't invented yet so the other cars in High School were just stepping stones to my 67 GTX of which I still own. The 330 is a great car and so is the 68 Runner. Placed in your spot it's a no brainer for me - the Runner would definitely be in the mix keeping in mind if the 330 goes - no regrets - as we all know we will be kicking our *** later for making that mistake - AGAIN!!!!

I have tossed the idea around. Both are projects.I just got started on the 330,so I'm not to far into it.I'm going to see the runner saturday. He has a few others to,so I'll get the low down on all of it.I thought it had been crushed years ago. When I had it in high school I had the frame tied and a six point roll bar, racing seats, aluminum fuel cell,383 with 11.5 comp, torker intake,4spd.mallory dual point, headers.I would do burnouts everyday after auto shop class, never got in trouble. There were four of us that had cool cars,my 68,66 gto,73 formula,68 fastback mustang. This was in 83'.

I bought my GTX my senior year in 1979, and still have it, and it ain't going nowhere soon.
I say go for the Runner.

My high school ride was a '64 Polara 500, Black on Black, Cragar SS all around, Built 383, Best times in the low 13's.
Yep I'd buy it back in a heart beat!

Saw the 68 runner today, definetly a project. Will probably get it.At the dealer ship the seller works at they have a one owner 69 daytona.440 auto car, orange. And a 69 runner 383 auto orange also. Both are real nice.I am in the process of finishing the floors in the 64,then i'll put the front clip back together and then decide wether to sell it.

Well.I'm going for the runner. So I need to let go of the 64.Not sure what to ask for it.As is ,or finish floors and bolt back together. What say you?

Of course, but I need my wife to help.I hate my MAC!Soon.

Nice find and congratulations on finding your old car! I think you have to just suck it up and do it. If both are project cars, I agree one needs to go. Road Runner all the way!

Good luck whatever you decide!
