Although it was June 26th I was freezing my *** off. I had to show up at 1:00 am at the starting line and with the rain/sleet/fog you could barely see 25 yards. It was great that it was the 100th running of the race and I got some cool souvenirs, T-shirts and insulated bags, patches, etc.
If you want to skip ahead to the crash it's at 8:50. It's worth watching the whole video just to see the lack of guard rails. You can enter as a racer for $2,750.
