73 Roadrunner - I've had columns apart for detailing, and have destroyed a few ignition switches on locked columns (don't ask). My switch feels like it's about to go - often takes alot of wiggling to get it through the motions - are they tough to replace ? Any tips or links ?

They are not that hard to replace once you take off the steering wheel, then remove the locking plate and the turn signal actuator(may have to unscrew the turn signal arm)then you will see the switch. You will see a little lock pin, just push down on that with a small screwdriver or pocket knife and it should slide right out of the column.

I need help with fuel gauge,I have 1973 roadrunner.I 've replaced the fuel sending unit as it was shot out. There is a relay looking mechanism on back of instrument panel with a condenser hooked on one of it's side terminal, another with a wire connected coming from somewhere. There's no power coming to either side. I ran power to each side, no results- fuel gauge still inop..Maybe the fuel gauge/ maybe not?? HELP?

You need to start your own thread on this. What you are looking at is the instrument voltage limiter, which supplies all electric engine gauges except the ammeter The cap/ condenser is for radio noise supression.
