I am in the works of starting a Plymouth superbird retromod, has anyone found an IRS for a B-body, i have found them for the E or A body cant quite remember at the moment, havent found one for the B body. Can anyone help?

nope i am curious about finding some 4-link conversions, but the IRS is more of a preference/ideal situation for me

Retrofit the rear end out of a newer Charger / Magnum

Or, you could go completely insane and fit a IRS from the new LX cars! Google DarkRunner 69 Roadrunner, pretty cool!

I think DarkRunner was a 6.1, with a supercharger, prolly around 1000 HP, I think the rear was a stock LX unit, but, Brandon, if you are in here, speak up brudda as you BUILT that car!!! (Brandon said he was going to find his way over here)

The half shafts go at 600 or 700 hp - upgrade them - the rear end itself is good to go...

The downside to the Viper unit is cost and the 6 lug pattern compared to the Charger 5 lug.

I picked up a complete rear suspension out of a Charger for $200 - the deals are out there

Just askin', but didn't the SRT10 Ram come with Viper rims and tires, and they were 5 lug?

The newer Charger\Magnum\300 IRS looks like this:

Another option would be modding a Ford T-bird IRS.

Don't forget the Jag IRS.
