Ink to use for stamping part numbers

I am trying to see which type ink is best when stamping the heater box, radiator and the cooling fan. I have the stamps, just would like to know what is the best ink and where to get it. Attached is an example of a stamp on the cooling fan.

Ok thanks. I had forgotten that and read about that a few years ago. I think most thin the paint a bit so the letters are clean looking. I do have yellow and white already so that works out well.
 
I use a spray can of acrylic enamel, spray it on cardboard.. dip the stamp.. stamp it once on cardboard and then again on the object. Test drive it until you get a pattern you like..
 
Good idea and thank you. That avoids getting a stamp pad.
 
Wow that looks great! Ok, I will give it a shot. I'll post pics of the heater box resto when it is done.
