Trying to find the Inland handle in decent shape has proven to be a challenge for my early build date 68 RR but I want it to be correct so that’s what I want for it. Brewers offers a Hurst shifter modified to work with the Inland handle so the supposed hatefulness of the Inland isn’t an issue. My question is if anybody on here is running one of them and what they think.

My understanding is that the inland shifter handle is supposed to bolt on to the Hurst conversion shifter. I'm quite sure that all of my inland shifters are 67's, so I don't know exactly what you are looking for.

Been trying to find a B body non console handle. I will find one so that’s no biggie. Just curious what experiences people had with the conversion shifter

I have seen the shifter from Brewer's. It is a very nice piece and I highly recommend it. You
won't be sorry.

I sent a message to a friend who may have the shifter handle that you are looking for.

The shifter box is a Hurst. It will shift perfect. The handle is Inland and doesn't really effect the shifting. The reverse lockout on the handle won't work of course.

I think that it is exactly what he has. B body non console. It is in great shape too

 if 67 and 68 are the same I probably have what you want. I just can't be sure they are. How the conversion shifter works is beyond me. I couldn't afford a Hurst shifter in the day, so I learned to shift the inland shifter as well as most could shift a Hurst.

Wow, I didn't think this was a wanted thread.
