inspection cover color

Hi, I have a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II 383 4 speed, hardtop, copper in color with a black painted roof. It was missing the flywheel inspection cover when I got it. I found one @ the Garlits mopar swap meet last weekend. It is new & unpainted. The engine is turquoise in color. Should the inspection cover be turquoise also? Thanks. I also have a '67 Barracuda converible, a '98 Dakota R/T, '93 Dodge Spirit, '01 PT Cruiser (wifes car) & a '67 Amphicar. Ray

Welcome. I'll be interested to see if there is a definitive answer to this question myself.

Interesting stable of cars. Nice Amphicars can bring some pretty stupid money these days

All the Originals that I have seen were galvanized also.
