Has anyone installed headrest on 67 Gtx seats, and some info would be very helpful! Any pics would also be great! Thanks

Thanks, for reply , when I do find some , as mentioned, like hen’s teeth, will be installed in restored seats , which would have been better sense to have done , when I did seats , for my restoration! But after driving for a season, and with my neck problems and being 6’3” and way people drive anymore, like wow classic car , let’s drive twenty foot behind it , decided to try and find a pair ! But the available source is very limited! Still searching for correct ones ! Any help from the Brotherhood, on site, would be greatly appreciated!

I think I have one spare original headrest from my 67 Satellite sitting around somewhere. The driver's side had a split in the vinyl and I was lucky to find another when I restored the car many years ago.

So , if understanding correctly, you have one or pair ! If one , I’ll note this and continue to look for another one! Or pair ! Thanks for your response!

I have a single headrest with a split in the vinyl. No mounting hardware.

Ok thanks, for info, will look for another or a pair!

FYI Chrysler C-Body vehicles have headrests which look the same.
They do not fit as the headrest support spacing is different than B-body headrests(GTX, Satellite, R/T etc)

Good info, thanks for the heads up !

Researching this topic looking into whether my split headrest can be repaired, I came across a website offering restoration services as well as listing MOPAR headrest for sale, including for 66-67 B-Body ($795/pr ) - http://www.notjustheadrests.com. These appear to be good original units, not reproduction. I have no affiliation with this business nor have I purchased anything from them, but I did exchange several emails with "Dennis" and he gladly answered my questions.

In 67 you could order 1 only headrest if desired.

No sir , I only have the pair I recently installed in my 67 Gtx, but you should contact Dennis Gill at Not Just Headrest!
