Im looking to put Headrests in my 69 charger its a early car and didn't have them so since I'm doing the seat covers over i thought its a nice thing to have. Does anyone have a picture of how its set up in the seat frame. I have these 4 plastic black pieces and metal clips I'm not sure where they go. Any help is appreciated

Try checking the threads on forum looking up headrests, I had installed them on my '63 but that was some extra hardware spot welding in since the seats didn't have them, so a different situation than you have. I think there are some photos that were posted.

If you want to dig through my "Super Bee my way" restoration thread, I covered it there.

I found your page and pictures they are great but the only pieces i don't know where they go are those 4- small black L shaped metal clips ??

If you zoom in on the pics, you can see one of them installed. They put pressure on the chrome rods to hold them in. In one of the pics I had one set in the position it goes as well.

Looks like it under the 8/32 screws. How long are the screws you used?

I don't remember what they were as it was a couple of years ago. They came in the kit with all the other parts.
