I bought insulation for the kick panels and under dash but I can't figure where most of it goes. The piece behind the heater box was easy. I guess I glue the felt under the dash, but the kick panel pieces are driving me nuts. There are no instructions, and it was removed before I got the car. Doe's anyone have a plc of how they did lt. Thanks Chuck Ps 69 superbee

Dang...no pictures, but I think my '70 just had it shoved behind the kick panels...."maybe" semi-glued in place. Sorry, I'm not more help. I took them out 20+ yrs. ago and never put them back in (still have them though).

Installed new insulation in my 69 Coronet recently but didn't take pics. Each piece of insulation should have a long channel in the middle which centers around the kick panel tube that houses the attachment screw. The hard side goes against the kick panel and the yellow insulation faces the body. Then it's a matter of rotating the piece until it fits. Took me a couple of tries to figure out the orientation.

Maybe the ones I got are the wrong pieces, got 2 more to kind of fit but the other 2 are just confusing.

Do you have the park brake in? It will help when trying to figure out 2 of the puzzle pieces.

I am waiting to put it on because it looked like would behind it, but maybe not. I will put it up and check that out . Thanks
The parking brake has to be in before the kick panel goes on. Sounds like the dash is out too - it's much easier bolting in the pedals before the dash.

I have the emergency cable all hooked up ready to go , thought I had to glue the insulation on first then the brake. I do have the dash out and rebuilt ,except for the speaker and ignition switch. I have the brake assembly ready to go back in also. I also have the gas pedal, dimmer switch ready to go. The heater box is rebuilt also and in. I'm baby sitting my grand kids today and will be able to take some pics tonight and tomorrow and post.
