Intake heat shield stud

I'm looking for the screw stud that secures the oil heat shield to the bottom of the intake manifold. I know, I'm never going to find one. I was also told that it was better to leave the heat shield off but, I'm not sure about that.

What engine and year? I have a siezed polyhead 318 and several /6 engines.

Just tap it and use a short bolt with locktite

Its a 1966 poly 318.

Don't want to drill it.
