Hi guys,
Do you know any good dyes that I could use on interior plastic trim pieces? Thanks

I've used the aerosol dye on vinyl with fantastic results. I got mine at the local auto parts store.

Never tried it on plastic parts tho ... try it on the backside of something to test it first.

You must have read my mind, I was just about ready to ask the same question.
Is there a brand name that is better than another?

SEM is good stuff! I dyed/painted the interior in my wifes car from white to black 6 years ago & it's still holding up. I'm now doing the interior for a vehicle I recently got from my brother. (Non Mopar) The white interior turned yellow. Now back to white with SEM. The pictures shows the differences.

I have had good luck with SEM. Herbs Parts is now selling there own brand with alot of Mopar specific colors in rattle cans. Might be worth a try.

rust-oleum plastic paint works good. u can get it at walmart or home depot, lowes any auto part store that carries the paint.

PPG will mix you the color you want. You must prep the plastic part first. Scuff with scotch pad first ( PURPLE PAD ) clean with alcohol USE THE LIQUID PREP cleaner DX 103 or spray can SX 103 and also use adhesion promoter. You can get every thing from painters supply or a paint store that carrys ppg products. It will last and not peel or flake off.

I've used the color match paint that Year One has with good luck and it matches perfectly. I guess we will see how well it holds up.

Biggest problem is they carry basic colors, blacks, reds, greens, blues but I have yet to see a turquoise.....

Awesome! Thanks for alll the suggestions. If I try one i'll be sure to post up pics!

plastic kote is really good as well. I have used that on numerous pieces. But you cant go wrong with sem either.
