You may have read my other post.I put disc brakes on the front of my 1967 Satellite and used a conversion kit from Jegs.I think it's based on the mid 70's A body. After bleeding the brakes I had great pedal unless I turned the wheel hard to the left or right.I thought I still had air somewhere but I've now realized the calipers are hitting the shocks right below the banjo fitting.I tried to clearence them and cured the pedal problem but they are still hitting hard enough that the shocks try to move.I also changed to a Flaming river Quick ratio manual box at the same time so I was wondering if they have a tighter turning radius.I've got to be missing something.Any ideas? Thanks

I've seen factory steering knuckles that had nuts and set-screws on them to use as steering stops. Cant remember if the old Mopes had them, or what they used for a steering stop. Sounds like what you need.

You're exactly right.I just checked and I believe I can put a longer bolt in the knuckle, use it as a stop, and cure all my problems. Thanks! You're a lifesaver!!
