So the other day while I was working in the garage I had a thought. For guys/gals in my area, anyone up for 1 day a month traveling to help with someone's project. It'd be fun to meet some members and help get the projects closer to completion. What do you guys think?

That was the reason the Members Map was started. Unfortunately zee maps went for profit and killed all the maps when no one coughed up for a membership.

I love the idea. I'm sure there are a lot of guys who's projects are stalled. Community help with the projects are a great way to progress all of them.

I am in Pennsylvania, but I think you have a GREAT idea...

Where are you at? I'm in the Des Moines area. I'd love to hang out and help out.

Edit: I see where you are and think I've bought parts from you in the past. My inlaws live about 5 miles from you if it's where I'm thinking.

I'm south of Des Moines about 30 miles. So I see we have a couple guys interested. Who ever wants to be first just throw it out there, pick a day and we can PM you for directions and what to bring. This would also help tool wise. Some of us already have bought things like clamps, pullers ect and would be happy to bring those along to help.
Others from here close I can think of are BeeCool Cornpatch

Sounds good..
I am 45 miles west of Des Moines.

My old 67 is pretty well done. I would be glad to help though.

One of my FABO buddies from North Dakota stopped by today on his way through town. We had some good whiskey and went out for supper as well as a great chat. It was a great time. You guys can meet up at the Mopar Max weekend in Cedar Falls.

lkopaska from FABO lives in Des Moines. A mopar guy is a Mopar guy. He is a transmission tech.

Every group has a guy that just sits around, drinking beer, telling everyone else what to do.....I volunteer for that position....................MO

Well sounds like we have a pretty good group going, just need someone to say "Hey I need a hand"

Also want to include surrounding states, for the guys who live near the border.
I know everyone has a different travel limit. For some, a hour drive is a long ways, others would drive 3 hours at the drop of a hat (me).

I live near the Iowa/ Nebraska border. I won't really have anything cool for a few months. I don't really need help with anything right at the moment. Would be happy to meet up. I do metal/ body/ paint work/ some mechanics.
