I’m looking to purchase this MSD 8546 distributor, however I’m nervous that it will even fit....
I have a 69 440 RR with Edelbrock Aluminum heads.

Can anyone please let me know if this will fit, and how it works?
Thanks!

Call summit. Couple times I have called them they put thru to a mopar guy that really new his stuff. If it doesn't work for your set up their return policy is good and fast.

Not quite the same, but I’m running a msd 8545 dizzy on a 400 block with tm6 intake with aluminum stealth heads and it fits just fine. I would think it would be all relative..but as stated summit has good return policy and they are knowledgeable. Good luck!

Moparlike, I'm running a 440 with edelbrock victors and a wieand tunnel ram intake, mine is close but fits. good luck, Dave.

My MSD hit the edelbrock head by a pretty good margin so I just marked it where it hit and ground it off some with a sanding disc. Not a big deal.

I had no problem with my Indy EZ heads and valve covers, but a buddy had to do some grinding on his E heads and valve covers like crylydog mentioned.
