Is it worth the $$?

doesn't really say much about the condition of it. makes it hard to judge

If it's really the original paint at least you know there isn't any bondo or shotty work hidden somewhere.

Looks clean...No motor or tranny?I don,t know....Still it,s a mopar,so hell yeh offer the guy 2000.00 I bet he takes it!!!

Thank bros

I never have B-body before, if I come to inspect the car, where should I look at?

Around the bottom of the back window...Bottom of front fenders...Underneath the doors,Directly underneath the doors were the torsion bars are...The inside of the trunk...
That,l be a good start..

Also look close around windshield, especially if it had a vinyl top, the fenders and quarters around the bumpers, and the rear wheel wells.

I've seen a few with the K frame isolator mounting area rusted out, like mine. Body shop says not a big deal, but I'd look.

Cowl area under windshield and where the firewall/cowl meets the inner fenders.

Can't be the original paint as someone took off the SE vinyl top..unless they blended it.

Petty/Basin St/Corp blue is desireable if that is the original color.

What original motor? What motor now?

Buckets? Bench? Slapstik?

Believe it or not the hood IS worth $850 if it aint rusted out.

Cant see crap in those pics,to hard to tell.Need better pics.

It better be a super nice interior and solid. Also check the trunk extensions, right behind the rear tires.
It's interesting that he says it has original paint, but the hood's been changed. You buy this, or you can buy that!

With cars this old, the aforementioned areas to 'check' will certainly have rot, and damages. However, this should not preclude a purchase as most of this stuff is made these days new! The real question is, and should be can you/are you able to do the work yourself, and, or do you have a shop that can/will actually do this work? And, how much will the car be worth to YOU after all is said -- and done!???? Often, 'Priceless' means you should do it, go for it! After all, I would say 9 out of 10 of our cars' are not 'worth it' in investment terms; meaning are you going to increase your investment?

Seams pretty steap for a 73' charger roller that's destin to probably need more body work than a couple patches optimistically stated by the seller.
