I'm pretty sure it isn't, but wanted to tap into the knowledge base here and see if this is something worth a crap or not. Horn works on it. I have a restored wheel for it so this one will be going up for sale.

I've got the same Grant wheel on mine. I prefer the factory look to be honest but don't want to spend the money to change it. Plus it's real wood, not sure if the factory one is.

Factory one is plastic. Saw An NOS factory wheel on ebay go for $1225. I dropped out at $625.

Thanks guys. I already have a factory replacement std wheel, so this one will be going up for sale. Just wanted to verify what I suspected that it was an aftermarket. It was just such good quality, I wasn't sure tho.

As I remember some cars did have a woodgrain look wheel, such as GTO as an option; but think it was plastic. The wheel photo’d was popular back in the 60’s. My elder brother and some of his car buds had them. My brother had one in his 65 GTO, no power steering, and he got a lesson about not sticking his fingers in the holes, lol. He broke a finger making a turn hitting a bump that sprung the wheel back.

Sticking a finger in a hole can become a problem.

Yep, "woodgrain look" is grooved plastic, with dark coloring wiped into the grooves as "grain".

Pictures are of the grain in a $1225 NOS 3 spoke wheel 1965 to 1967.
