Is this un reasonable to ask?

I think I am going to see if anyone with a 8 3/4 rear from a 68-69 Charger with the 489 or 742 center with 355 suregrip and offer that if they put all new brakes in it and throw it under my Charger, I will give them my 354 Dana rearend with all new 11 inch brakes. Hoping that the 8 3/4 will have them too. Does this sound impossible for my Dana?

Im sure anybody close that has what you are looking for would find it to be an intersting deal. I have a question. Why? Why would you want to get rid of the dana?

Just my preference and it had a 8 3/4 originally. The rear is from a E body originally and was installed in my car in like 1984 or 1985.

Have a few 68-70 B rears and some 355 S/G units laying around. Don't have any E-body Danas in my way. Wish I had that problem.

I'd swap in a heartbeat if the rear in my gtx had 355s instead of 323s

I can see if my brother has what you need but that's not a guarantee.I know he's been looking for 3:55's or 3:54's.

Nice, mine has all new brakes and everything. I just want the 8 3/4 in the same shape as mine installed. The 354 Dana has 11 inch brakes too.
