Is this worth buying?

It's a fair deal, provided it has good bearings and the Sure Grip unit is not worn. 'Gears look good' comment tells me the current owner has never actually had in a car themselves. As with any used part, it's a crap-shoot.

It would be a nice deal if it worked, the 3.55s don't come up in these parts that often.
 
Any good Ro-Dilander knows that that once you hit Rt4 on 95S, you're in no-man's land (To non-Islanders: the distance is only 10 miles south of Providence, but that's the mentality of most in that state). Seeing as the chuck is in Cumberland and you're in Jamestown, perhaps you can express that since you live in the wilderness at the opposite end of the state that he should come down a few sheckles to make up for the driving distance. Offer him 250.00.

That's hilarious! And you're right, that's exactly how we think here. If something's 20 minutes away, it's too far!
