Don't mean to post multiple threads but this is a different question. Bought some 2k primer and paint and am prepping things to apply it. I have since been reading online about these iso's and they have me feeling really nervous about painting and using this in my garage. Have a 3m half face respirator rated for iso's and paint coveralls. Planned on just leaving the garage door open while painting but now I am completely unsure of the safety. Seems any website that talks about it is full of ominous warnings and a lot of guessing on the affects. Can I get a real world opinion on doing a one time spray in my garage with this stuff? And also how much I have to worry about sanding the stuff too?

I was all excited to start on the painting/bodywork until I read this crap. Now it seems like a death sentence the way it is portrayed out there.

p.s. I do not have the funds for a supplied air mask.

Supplied air is the way to go, but at least use a dual cart mask, goggles, and a suit, gloves, etc. Don't do anything like leave a pack of smokes in the area, as they will absorb the ISO's as well. I would figure some way to do fresh air ventilation.
Change filters on your mask often, keep it in an airtight bag (gallon freezer nags work great). Wear it when sanding, too. As for using the stuff, take precautions, and enjoy.
