It's Back On, 40th Annual Mopar Expo Show. Gonna Be Huge!

ATTENTION NEW ENGLAND B-BODY ONLY MEMBERS:

It's Back On! The 40th Annual Mopar Expo show at the Farmington Polo Grounds 162 Town Farm Road in Farmington, CT. My car club Mopars In Motion here in Connecticut is hosting the show and it is sponsored by Papas Dodge in New Britain CT. This Show Is A Big Deal And Is Planning To Be Huge Since It Is The 40th Anniversary, it used to be held at the Farmington Polo Grounds back in the day so Mopars In Motion & Papa's Dodge are bringing the show back to its birthplace. THIS IS A 1 DAY SHOW ONLY NOW, AND IS BEING HELD RAIN OR SHINE. Gate opens at 9am, and the show starts at 10am with danishes and coffee being served with entry. There will be dash plaques and goody bags for the first 125 vehicles, and will be 19 show classes PLUS Best Of Show and Officer's Pick Awards! The show will cost $5.00 for spectators and $15.00 for show cars with the proceeds benefiting the Hometown Foundation. There will be raffle prizes, and trailer and spectator parking onsite. Sorry but NO pets, personal grills, or pop up tents are allowed. Since there don't seem to be many car shows in Ct. this is a nice show. It use to be at Southbury Training School until venue got to expensive.

Washed car today added 5 gallons of gas. First time its been washed and dried since Rapid Transit Ralph dried after a rain storm. Was at a NeHOA/Mopar in Motion meet in 2018. Been using a duster with resin in it. My H-pipe I think is leaking air at manifolds sounds crappy idling. Tomorrow check spare to see if there is air in it, clean windows. Might even put the top down for sweating Sunday, 90*+.

The flanges where flare are at the wrong angle I think. The flare on top is rotated toward the back tried tightening bolts didn't help. Needs to come off, Probably call Gardner and buy a new one. Idle a little low but can live with it for now.

Car is all washed & detailed, gas tank all filled up, next up pack sun screen, a big thermos of ice water, a chair and some tools, just in case. Looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow. I'll be there about 8:45.

Roger took the heat OK me not so much. Must've been over 100* on the pavement. HOT as HELL!

It sure was a hot one, think it hit 95. I drank 2 of those thermoses of water and probably sweat most of it out.
