I took my rusted trunk floor out in pieces on my 74 Charger. I tried to put the new one in for a test fit and it would not fit. The forward end would go around the wheel wells but the aft end would not go through the trunk opening. Anyone ever have this problem or know how to fit it in?

You have to remove a quarter panel and slide it in from the side,or get a 2 piece panel.

I just just about to ask if this was 1 piece or 2 piece. I plan on doing this soon and will be getting the 2 piece as I don't mind a seam in the middle.

That's what she said....

Sorry couldn't resist....(laughing)

I'm waiting for Marpar to see this post.

Well, when I replaced mine in my 70 gtx I simply took the framing behind the rear seat out and stuck it through there, it was tight but worked and that part wont show with welded repairs after floor was replaced and seat replaced, just an idea to think on, worked for me.

Hammer and toach thing or buying aftermarket? Beware of quarter panels 'bad'
