Do not know where I read this, but said that solid state IVR's can cause lazy gauge movement. I had a missing pin in a circuit board, and installed the new IVR with the new circuit board. Fuel gauge was always lazy, so I installed my old IVR. VIOLA, fuel gauge moves fast and to me normal when ign key is turned on, and is accurate. It also helps to have an orginal or reconditioned orginal sending unit.
