Embarrassing as it is to ask can someone post a photo of a correctly installed bumper jack as it is stored in the trunk.....

Opened cause I thought "JACK" of jack in box fame did a commercial in a 68...

Do you have your bumper jack instruction decal? It is on that....I cannot locate a picture at the moment...

I was more concerned about the thread title....thought maybe it would be better in the Blue Section.

Ok I have spare items that thought were part of the Jack. I guess they're not I'll post a picture later see if anybody can identify what they are

Jim, the small thumb screw and the plate are for securing the jack (without the hook attached) to the bracket on the floor (horizontally) under where your spare tire is in the picture.

Look at the small picture of the "sedan" version on Dennis H's post above. Its hard to see, but its there the way it all goes together.

Keyed end of retainer goes over nub on welded down spare tire bracket. Upper slot is for thumb screw to tighten to upper end of spare tire bracket. Your dinner bell shaped hold down goes through the uppermost side holes in the spare tire bracket.

My bracket and hold down are different but you get the picture. I had a thread like this a while ago and everyone kept attaching the blurry, small drawing of the trunk sticker. Not much detail.
