Now when you say "I had a HP2 car", do you mean one with an engine stamped "HP2"? If so, this means it was a high performance engine built second shift. A simple "HP" means it was built first shift.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, Canada. I hope you are successful in your search. Here are some pictures of an HP2 car that was here locally that I was invited to verify as the real deal. It has since been sold and i don't know where it went. Real 426 Hemi 4-speed, Dana 60, with December 1965 build date, hence the HP2 signs on the front fenders. Now painted red, build plate said it was originally Lilac metallic, a very rare 1966-only color.
