right now motor nd trans. are in, new motor plate and midplate in, dash cluster all rechromed plastic, new ppp shifter.
gauges just need to go in radio delete plate.
3/4 of the custom headers are in. more pics to follow.

That is a nice car you have Chris. Chuck had that car flying on 10.5's. Only one question, did you change it back to a stock torsion bar suspension?

jim, there's torsion bars in the car now.mounting the new dry sump oiling system by the end of the week.keeping the 10.5's on it also.

Are you planning on running NSS with this or is it a NENDRA car only?

its too fast to run in NENDRA!8.50 is the cutoff.
plan on racing in the 8.50 index class.
or if i put in 200 lbs. ballantine ballast in the trunk to slow it down then maybe take it in the NENDRA association.
I have 3 other NSS cars to choose from.
 
How fast do you figure it will be? Would probily take a solid 1200 hp to go 8.50
 
Yup, I know he went 8.58, just was not sure how much power he had. Those carbs you are using are impressive. I wonder how hard they will be to setup? I know of only one dragster that is running a pair of them on a 655 Preditor motor. It went 7.01 @ 190 in good air last weekend. Hope they work well for you.
 
I love that car chris, it looks great at C&F I wish you all the luck. but i will still sit next to you anytime, See you at the valley this weekend LOL

Also I saw some ports on the intake runners do/can you run nitrous or just use them for data?

Yup that is right. I run a 9.75 setup. The NSS races we go to average 40+ cars and the Stock/Superstock Shootouts more than that so I set it up to be consistent and go rounds. All out is nice but to win these type of races you must be consistent through heat, cold and changing track conditions. Our car can run 9.75 in 100 degree heat or on a marginal track. Norwalk was not a good race for us as we managed to break out early both days. You will have that sometimes, but we always cover our dial-in.

port holes were there when i bought the hogan intake.
wont be hitting it with any nitrous.
thanks for the kind words.
finishing up putting back the stock dash, heres so before and after pics. instrument cluster will be back in its correct location after some steering column repairs.
