We just got back from the IMIS show in Indy. It's well worth the trip. They said it is twice the size it was last year. It took us a good 6 hrs to walk it and we were not wasting time. I saw Herb McCandless at the Indy Cyl. Heads booth, along with Tom Hoover and Tom Coddington from the Ramchargers. They were there walking the show.
Most all the major vendors were there. There were a few I didn't see that I wanted to talk to Comp Cams, ATI, and Mopar Perf. But Ford nor GM Performance were there either, but just about all the other major manufactures were there.
I have to say I can see this show surpassing PRI in a year or so. Although word has it that PRI has scheduled next years event overlapping IMIS, which is BS.
The show goes through Friday, and all you need is a business card to get in.
I've worked a lot of shows in my life and I would have to say this is first class.
I hope this show makes it. Indy is where it should be.
