K-Frame Interchage

I am going to be pulling my engine and K-frame. And the K-frame is pretty well rusted. I was wondering, if there is not much left after I sand blast it, will a K-Frame from a 1970 Satellite work? Or is the 68-69 the only years that will work?

A 1970 K member should be the same.

Here is a list of K-members by part number and year. There is quite a few that fit, The big difference is where it moves the engine to. ( forward or back )

The 70 cars have a different sway bar location but otherwise will work. If you want to keep it original I'd stick to a 68-69 model.

Perfect timing, I just picked up a 66 Belvedere II with a Poly 318 and wondered if the K member would work with my 440, my car has a Hemi K member in it! Thanks...great info
