K frame interchange ability?

I have two 64 dodge 440's. My parts car was a big block car and The one I'm restoring is a 318 car. I'm going to run the 318 for now, but I want to put a big block in it later on. Do I need to keep the big block K frame out of the parts car, or will a big block bolt up to a small block K frame?

i believe there the same only one thats different would be a 6 cyl k frame.

They are the same.
