Nice! I have 2 b bodies i need to do this to later this year. Keep us posted on your progress. I plan on all new bushings (poly?), tie rods & centerlink etc., stiffer torsion bars, and weld some of those stiffener plates to the lower control arms, and an updated sway bar. I'd like a little to have a little firmer ride with less roll but trying to keep within a budget. Oh and some good quality shocks.

If you're going to drive your car much, especially on the highway, get tubular upper control arms w improved caster n camber. The steering isn't as twitchy at higher speeds that way.

i replaced my lower ball joints with moog problem solvers up dated the tie rods to 11/16s firm feel from the stock 9/16s and the tubular upper control arms with the 5 degree pos caster very good dont forget a good alinement

You mean the ones for sale? I searched the forums (on my phone), and didn’t see a lot of bad about them unless using for racing.

Moog for joints, energy suspension for rubber goods, PST squeak and the boots for joints are kind a hard and crack.. lifetime warranty my butt! On the moog stuff make sure it’s made in USA.

Go to the resto mods and pro touring section to start. Also put them in the search area. And check them out on moparts. In other words, they are bad news.

If you're sticking with stock, go Moog for all replacement parts.

Using Pro Forged for the joints and QA1 for the control arms on mine. The Pro Forged parts look pretty nice.

On your upper ball joints, put them side by side for a length comparison. Make sure the overall is the same, from the taper behind the threads to where it stop and from where the taper stops to the main body. Have had that happen on a 37 Chev with a Stang 2 front end. They use Mopar ball joints. Took 3 sets from different manufactures to get an equal pair. One of the problem children was Moog. Got good stuff from NAPA.

Not so much to compare but its a matter of choice, I know that when my car is complete i want it as a weekend driver, and you all well aware what happened to a rubber suspension when remain longs periods of time in one position, ii want a little more durability , but am also well aware of the problems of the polyurethane bushings.
