At the Mopars at Englishtown event last weekend, the Montgomery Family brought out Ken's factory Hemi Cuda that he purchased new in '68. Great to see this one as I have never seen it in person. Ken also bought an A990 car from the factory, and ran it up until his passing a couple years ago. I wonder how many "Little Guy" racers still have 2 factory race cars they bought new from Chrysler? R.I.P. Mr Ken Montgomery, they don't make 'em like him anymore......

Ken Montgomery was a class act.

My father-in-law did the machine work for Ken, and I had the pleasure of having one of Ken's Hemi blocks in the back of my Suburban as I delivered it to him in his shop. I got a signed model of his Barracuda out of it too!

Ken showed me all of his cars, jammed into his little shop. He was truly a car guy, and happily chatted with me (a total nobody) about cars in general as well as things he did to his race cars. Really cool guy, I was very sorry to hear of his passing.

RIP Ken.

I always liked talking to Ken at the York PA show every July. He was a very nice man to talk with and how many other people do you know who bought two factory Superstock Hemi cars in the 60's ? !!! I have always liked the paint job on the 65 car and of course you gotta love the 68 Cuda. Thanks for the pics as he will be greatly missed. Ron

I saw Scott and Mom at York. Did not get a chance to get into the show field. When thet towed the car up to the line I was able to say hello in the staging lanes, but I was up in the tower when they were on the starting line.
Always a class act!!
