On a 68 Charger was there a light above the ignition? I have the gauge cluster out and there’s an extra light that I don’t know where it goes. The wire isn’t long enough to reach the ashtray.

This is the courtesy light on my 69 GTX. I believe they came with the interior light package.

You need to get the FSM.

This is the correct set up for the ignition switch. It will not have power unless you have the time delay relay installed into the harness. I have a 68 charger and just went through all this to get it working. Goal was to have every light working on the car.
