Have a 70 gtx clone, 440w/727... I am putting it together to drive for a bit before restoring it...
For the kick down all I have is the bracket that mounts to the intake bolts

what is better or what should I do for the kick down? Looks like the bracket for the 3 piece rod assmebly... is there a cable conversion for this?
What should I use for the kick down? try and find the 3 piece rod setup or cable if available?

Edelbrock intake and carb, I ordered the Mancini brackets already for the throttle cable

TIA

The factory 3 pc kickdown will work just fine for that set up....

If you want to go the cable route, Lokar makes one. As far as operation, I would go with the factory. You might have to go the cable route if you're tossing on some funky headers

Either way you go, seeing you need parts/pieces for your original, I imagine the cost would be pretty comparable....

where to get the 3 peice setup?

Well, you can actually buy it new (Reman) for a nice hefty price of 300-400 bucks off ebay, classic ind., year one..ect...ect, or scroll through the parts for sale section on here or other mopar websites, that's what I did. Ended up buying a used 3 pc set for my 69' roadrunner from Moparmagnate1 (FBBO member) for 60 bucks..

brent is a great guy i have bought tons of parts from him over the years

posted a thread.. quick search reveals a setup for $100 right now on ebay and one bid on it or the cable setup for $44 shipped from a place in cali.. might have to take the cheap way out for now... don't want to get into a bidding war ..hahahaha but its just for now anyway.. the car will be torn apart and restored in a few months anyway and I'll make a decision then as to what to do... might end up doing a conversion on it to EFI modern setup.... we'll see...

I agree......Brent (Nipper) is a great guy!!
