Has any body ordered a KB Hemi block? If so how long was your wait to get it?

From what I hear they are the best blocks on the market but you will wait and they are not cheap.
SSR can confirm but I think when you get the block most all of the machining is done.

6-7 months from the last two people I know that ordered them.

We have had one on order since November 2014 so looks like only a couple of months to wait. Cant get a delivery date from Ken

6 months sounds about right. They have to fill orders for top race teams all over the country. I called to find out what was taking mine so long. Basically that was what i was told. They explained it as nice a way as they could that i was low on the totem pole. But it came eventually. Well worth the wait.

Ken Black is a great guy and a pleasure to talk to. I had a block on order for over 6 months but found a brand new one pretty local that was all done.
Ken promised me 10-12 weeks but after 6 months I found another one and cancelled my order. Realistically you'll be 8-9 months.
Sealing the valley area was a challenge compared to my indy hemi block. There was a big notch on the block at the head area that needs to be sealed.
