I think this show is pretty good for a reality show. It follows of group of people in Utah who are into demo derby. Lots of them seem to use '70s Mopar C-Bodies naturally. Seems way more violent than the derbies I've seen, for example they don't wet the tracks down as much as I usually see allowing the cars more traction to get up a head of steam before they hit a car.
I've watched a lot of so-called "reality" shows and I haven't detected much fakery (like on "American Pickers" where they go into a garage that hasn't been opened in 30 years and they cut to a reverse angle from inside of the door being opened or they knock on some stranger's door and the camera is already inside with them). There also doesn't seem to be much manufactured drama. The people on the show have their rivalries in the arena but help each other out with parts and lending a hand fixing each other's cars between matches.
It's also pretty fun to watch how quickly they get the damage repaired between rounds. It's on Velocity.
