Know any machinists that can carve out a pair from a piece of aluminum? Thread them and polish, probably be hard to tell the difference.

I've thought about it. A bandsaw, a file, and a pack of smokes, it could be done.
It may well come to that.
I was just hoping someone may have a couple.
