One of the truly technological wonders of our era is destroyed, I know there's a lot of pilots and fighter pilots here, a truly amazing piece of engineering gone forever.

I seen that years ago take off in Calgary when I worked at Eagle copters. At the international airport. Impressive to watch take off.

I remember watching the Concorde land at the Airport.

Well, there goes that plane. Its very first commercial flight was for the U.S. Military over twenty years ago. The American and Canadian military have made use of it on other occasions as well.

if you think (know) it will turn political ?

where it really belongs & people can speak freely !!!!

IMO almost anything here of current events today
can be construed as &/or turned political, gas prices, EV's, meat prices,
jobs reports, taxes, stimulus checks, umpteen Covid Flu & Vaxx's threads,
even guns or drinking threads, cool old planes in a war theater
All can be considered/manipulated in a form, political of/in nature etc. etc. etc.

I know and I agree about the political animals that we all are, I just don't want to be polemic in this terrible situation, the human tragedy is far worst than loosing a plane, just this is a side of this situation that I found interesting and sad and i want to share this with you all.

Concorde was a thing of beauty.....and my alarm clock for about 4 years in London.
