for your preload. get in the car and set nuetral preload on both sides with a touch of air on drivers side and passenger side just barely touching.

Looks great. I'm going to go with the CalTrac setup on my NSS car, but it won't be for a year or so.

Thanks guys ! I keep looking at it, gonna take a bit to get used to the lower stance ! ... i've got the preload seat as per the rep at Calverts. Im sure i will have to toy around with it some ..

You can even lower the car more with an adjusable front spring hanger.I have a set on my 64 with spring sliders.I have a set of 29.5 tall tires tucked up pretty nice.Don't think about it to much, the car looks great.

I just wish I could see the pics ? Ron

That looks fantastic! I bet that badboy launches like a rocket! Good job!

moparpoor---- lower it more ? then the tires will definately not go back on !

ron ---- not sure why you cant see any pics ?

anmracing--- thanks a bunch, and i hope your right about the launching !!

get it as low as you can. moparpooor is correct.
you will have to just deflate the tires to get them off if you need to.
you want that *** end as low as possible.

It's easy, just jack the car up by the front spring perch and let the axle hang.I have 29.5x9.0 tires and remove them with out removing air or any tricks. The rocker is only 10" off the ground, these cars respond very well to this. With this setup I'm crushing spring perches and superstock springs. Here's a pic to see how well the tire is tucked in.I know I really need taller front tires, one expriment at a time.

damn SSR, i think yours is even lower than mine is ! I think the only way i can get it lower is with the rear leaf spring sliders. How close is your oil pan to the ground ?

moparpoor - maybe thats the difference between your 9" tire and my 10.5" . Even with the car supported by the frame, rear axle fully extended, still had to deflate the tires to get the wheels back on ....

In the picture your tires look narrow.I was very surprised to hear you have a 10.5 tread.

i have a custom billet fab pan that is long not deep. i should have my front up another inch but then it will wheelstand way too high.

if your driving it on the street don't go too low. you will scrape on every bump or dip in the road especially if you have 90/10 shocks or 3 way adjustables set on soft.

yeah, im kinda curious how bouncy the front end will be with the calvert 90/10's on ! ..
