I'm contemplating doing this to my 67 R/T - For the folks that have done this to the 66-67 B bodies, do you gain a decent amount of space? How about the widening of the wheel well? anyone have pictures of this? I'm hoping to fit a 10 wheel with a 325/50/15 tire out back. I'd appreciate pics or any info on this.

Thanks.

I'm also looking to do this on the '67 Coronet that I recently bought and could use the insight. Anybody retained the original gas tank? It looks like the springs will hit it. Thanks

This is my '66 Satellite with 325/50/15 BFG Drag Radials on 10" wheels. Narrowed Dana. Plenty of room for tires. Not sure about the gas tank though, fuel cell in the spare tire well.

X2 on that . . .

I've added the US Cartools Spring relocation kit to my car . . . mini tubbed the wheel wells . . . and de-humped the outer wheel well . . .

With these modifications to the wheel wells - I measure 16" from the frame to the outer wheel well
( you could easily fit a 15" tire in there - if 1/2" clearance on both sides is acceptable )

It's all been documented in my thread - got any questions, feel free to ask . . .

Yup, you have to work on the wheel wells or moving the springs in will be a waste of time.....

Great thank you - I did start looking through your thread last night. Very helpful - do you have to go with a fuel cell or can you keep the stock tank?

Looks awesome, That's what I'm looking to do - I would like to retain the fuel tank though!

My plans are to use the stock fuel tank - it fits between the frame rails, so I think it will work just fine ( maybe I need to check ? )

Also note that I've got a convertible, which does change some of the configuration under the car . . .
