Has anyone added leafs? where did you get them I'm looking to get a little more height in the back but don't want to go out and buy a whole new spring.

thanks Kyle

Would rear shackles get you the lift that you want? Cheap and easy to install.

How do you install those?

Undo your U bolts, Take off the shock mount, remove centering bolt. At this point some springs have shorter leafs on the bottom, I take those off. Then put the add a leaf on and put it back together. I leave out the shorter leafs. The add a leaf if is about 2 1/2 time thicker than the stock ones. Takes about 2 or 3 hours for a slow poke like me.

Do reuse the U bolts or replace them? Also, I looked at the compatibility listing and there's nothing for older Mopars, so you think these would these work on a 74 Roadrunner?

I added one leaf from a c body on my 66 belvedere. Raised the car up about one inch and didn't effect ride. You can reuse the u-bolts if they are not rusted. I had a friend buy a set of new springs to raise his car up and after a few yrs it started to sag. The original springs are really good quality metal.

I have always reused my U bolts. If your springs are about 2.5 " wide they would be the same as the earlier ones. They raised my 64 about 2.5 - 3" The oldest set I have are about 5 or 6 years old and still good.

Also I 've learned to take a die and clean the threads before trying to loosen the U bolt nuts. Start squirting penatrating oil on them a few days ahead.

And take some pictures and post them, for the rest of the FBBO members to see.

Well I got the helpers in the mail, and tried to put them on but it seems that my leafs are to straight and can't get these to go on and the centering bolt is to big Ill have to play around with it some more to get it to work. On the upside I got the air shocks on so that helped a bit.

Thanks again
