Cylinder 1- 5%, 2- 10%, 3- 13%, 4- 10%, 5- 10%, 6- 7%, 7- 8%, 8- 10%. There also wasn't any metal in the oil filter.

Doesnt the test want to be done when the engine is hot ? It was done cold.

warm engine is better, anything over 5% is bad IMHFO anyway...., where was the leak down escaping into the pan, by the rings ?? or the intake, by the intake valves ?? or the exhaust by the exhaust vales ??

Hell, Jim made over 700 HP with 56% leak down so you're good. LMAO.

For a cold engine Those numbers seem fine, Try doing it with the engine hot as valves will sit better and oil will fill gaps in the rings. If you find you are leaking from the intake or exhaust do what is done on aircraft engines get a nylon hammer remove valve cover and hit the problematic valve hard a few times turn the engine over and try again

I think less than 10% you're doing good. Checking it warm sounds like a good idea.

for a street car yes !! for a high mileage beater daily driver yes !! for a race or performance engine no, but that's just my opinion

That Mopar Contest engine would have been even a much "badder mo-fo" if the guys running the Dyno didn't run it out of water & mess up Jim & Cody too.... he wasn't pleased but took it very well...
